⏱️
Time wasted

Backtesting 100 days? That's 40 minutes of clicking through TradingView's date picker. Per strategy. It adds up fast.

🖱️
Flow broken

Every time you open the date picker your analytical focus resets. You're doing admin instead of reading charts.

📅
Session juggling

Trading Asia, London and NY? That's three date picker clicks per day, every day, for every strategy you test.

How it works

FOUR STEPS.
THEN NEVER AGAIN.

Set it up once. Use it every backtesting session from then on.

01

Download & install ChartSkip

After subscribing you get a download link. Open the app and it appears as a floating strip on your screen. Grant Accessibility permission when prompted (this is how it clicks buttons for you).

02

Configure your sessions

Open Settings, choose 1–3 sessions, set the name and time for each. Asia at 02:00, London at 08:00, NY at 13:00, or whatever sessions you trade. Fully customisable.

03

Press Begin on TradingView

Click Begin, pick your start date, choose your first session. ChartSkip finds the Replay button and Select Date automatically and sets everything up for you.

04

Click a session button to skip

Each button shows the exact date it will jump to. Click it and ChartSkip handles the date picker in the background. Same day if the session hasn't passed, next trading day if it has.

Features

BUILT FOR
SERIOUS BACKTESTING.

Up to 3 custom sessions

Configure Asia, London and NY, or any sessions you trade. Each gets its own button with a custom name and time. One click per session, every time.

🧠

Smart next-occurrence logic

ChartSkip always finds the next occurrence of each session after your last jump. Same day if it hasn't passed, next trading day if it has. Never goes backwards.

📅

Date shown before you click

Every session button shows the exact date it will jump to above the session name, so you always know where you are going before you click.

🖥️

Floating widget

ChartSkip sits as a small floating strip on your screen, always accessible. Drag it anywhere, out of the way of your charts but ready when you need it.

📅

Smart scheduling

Skip weekends automatically for forex and indices, or switch to 24/7 mode for crypto and instruments that trade on weekends. One toggle in settings.

🔒

Your charts stay private

ChartSkip only interacts with TradingView's buttons and never reads, stores or transmits anything from your charts, strategies or account.

🌐

Mac & Windows

One subscription covers both platforms. Run it on your Mac at home and your Windows trading PC at the same time.

⚙️

Fully customisable

Name your sessions anything: "Scalp", "Morning", "Session 1". Change times any time from the settings panel. Light theme built in.

"I backtest 6 hours a day across Asia and London sessions. This saves me 20+ minutes every single session. Sounds small, adds up to hours every week."

"The three session buttons are exactly what I needed. I trade London open and NY open every day. Two clicks and I'm there. The date label on each button is a nice touch too."

"Was sceptical at first. But it just works. Finds the Select Date button on its own, fills everything in, done. I don't even think about it any more."
